Broadridge Financial buys Signal to expand digital capabilities in U.K.

Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE:BR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BR]) has acquired Signal, a U.K. customer communications specialist, for an undisclosed price [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20204911-broadridge-acquires-signal-accelerating-global-digital-communications-expansion], it said on Tuesday.

Signal offers a full suite of design, technology and consulting services that support omni-channel communications for financial services and social sector firms. It provides an integrated shared service model to support in-house teams alongside specialist managed services, including fully outsourced print production.

The deal is not expected to materially impact Broadridge's (NYSE:BR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BR]) financial results, it said.

"The combination of Signal's digital-first communications and strong relationships with UK financial services firms along with our proven scale and regulatory domain expertise transforms our ability to serve our global clients and extend our footprint in Europe," said Broadridge International President Mike Sleightholme said in a statement.

Broadridge (NYSE:BR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BR]) processes billions of critical communications annually, serving major financial institutions in North America and many worldwide.
