Bullish sentiment among individual investors rose for the second consecutive week, showed the recent survey conducted by American Association of Individual Investors (AAII).
The American Association of Individual Investors said in its survey that the bullish camp rose to 34.6% for the week ended August 27 from 30.8% the week before. Meanwhile, bearish sentiment as per the survey fell to 39.4% for the week, versus 44.8% the week before.
Even though investors braced themselves for more uncertainties amid the U.S. - China trade conflict and weak quarterly reports from some major retail and tech companies, rising prospects of Federal Reserve lowering interest rates for the first time this year in September remains a welcoming theme for the market.
