Alphabet, Google's parent company, is set to report third-quarter earnings on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Investors will be looking at whether the company is poised for more growth as ChatGPT continues to threaten its business model. This year, Alphabet said it’s heavily investing in its family of AI models, called Gemini, and additional products and services.

Analysts expect the company’s third-quarter results to "show faster product velocity is driving momentum in Search, Cloud and Waymo," according to CNBC. Alphabet is Waymo's parent company.

Alphabet’s stock has risen 38% during the third-quarter, marking the company’s best quarterly performance in decades, according to the outlet. In September, a judge ruled against the company’s forced sale of its Chrome browser in the largest antitrust case brought in decades, causing shares to rise.

However, the company’s growth is slowing down, CNBC noted, and is expected to come in at 12% in 2026. As a result, investors are changing how they see the company's future.

Google launches Gemini Enterprise

Still, Wall Street is hopeful the company will integrate artificial intelligence and become a competitor in the space.

Earlier this month, Google announced the launch of Gemini Enterprise, an advanced AI platform for businesses, in an attempt to bring more artificial intelligence to the workplace and boost corporate clientele. In September, the company announced it will be expanding Gemini to be used in Chrome to help users ask questions about webpages.

The feature will be rolling out to Mac and Windows users in the U.S., the company said in a September blog post.

"The browser is no longer just a window to the web; it’s an intelligent partner that learns and adapts to your needs," wrote Parisa Tabriz, Google’s vice president and general manager of Chrome.
