Meta is set to release its third-quarter earnings on Wednesday.

The company is expected to deliver profit growth of 14% in the third quarter, down from 27% in the second quarter, Bloomberg data shows.

In the first and second quarters this year, the company reported stronger-than-expected earnings. Meta has a long history of beating Wall Street estimates, and the company's stock popped 12% following its last report.

The company, which owns Facebook and Instagram, expects third-quarter revenue to be between $47.5 billion and $50.5 billion, Bloomberg reported.

The company’s third-quarter report will be released once the stock market closes on Oct. 29. It will provide a look at the company’s financial performance and outlook.

Meta is the first in a slew of Magnificent Seven companies − which include Microsoft Corp., Alphabet Inc., Nvidia, Amazon.com Inc., Apple Inc. and Tesla − due to report this week.

Microsoft and Google are also reporting on Oct. 29, while Apple and Amazon report on Oct. 30. Tesla reported earnings on Oct. 22. Nvidia will report earnings on Nov. 19.

As of this month, the Magnificent Seven, the largest companies in the S&P 500, make up 34% of the index’s total value.

However, the company said AI-related costs will continue growing. Meta previously said it expected capital expenditures for the year to be as much as $72 billion.
