Paramount Skydance Chief sees `lots of options' for media deals

Paramount Skydance (NASDAQ:PSKY [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/PSKY]) CEO David Ellison said he sees a lot of opportunities for deals in media amid reports that the company may make an offer for Warner Bros. Discovery (NASDAQ:WBD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/WBD]).

“There’s a lot of options out there in terms of what actually might be actionable in the near future,” Ellison said at the Bloomberg Screentime conference i [https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-10-09/paramount-s-ellison-makes-case-for-media-industry-consolidation]n Los Angeles on Thursday.

Ellison declined to specifically comment on the Warner Bros. Discovery (NASDAQ:WBD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/WBD]) speculation.

The comments come after reports on Wednesday that Paramount Skydance has reached out to PE firm Apollo Management [https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-10-08/paramount-is-said-to-discuss-warner-bid-with-apollo-legendary] (APO [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/APO]) and others for a potential bid for Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/WBD]).
