Somnigroup appoints Steve Rusing as CEO of Mattress Firm

Somnigroup International (NYSE:SGI [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SGI]) announced [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20203316-somnigroup-international-announces-new-chief-executive-officer-at-mattress-firm] that Steve Rusing, who previously served as President of Mattress Firm, has been named President and CEO, effective August 14, 2025. 

Rusing takes over the CEO role from Somnigroup Chairman, President, and CEO Scott Thompson, who had been serving as interim CEO of Mattress Firm since February 2025.
