British American Tobacco taps Goldman Sachs to execute next phase of share buyback

British American Tobacco (NYSE:BTI [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/BTI]) has entered into an agreement with Goldman Sachs to purchase ordinary shares of the company during the period commencing on 16 October and ending at the close of business on 23 December.

The repurchased shares will be cancelled to reduce the company's share capital.

The buyback is conducted under the authority granted at the 2025 AGM, allowing up to 220.45 million shares to be repurchased (minus prior purchases).
