BLS will publish September CPI data by month-end

The Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics said on Friday that it will publish the September 2025 Consumer Price Index on Oct. 24, 2025, which will provide the Federal Reserve with important inflation data before its next meeting on Oct. 28-29.

However, the agency won't resume the release of any other economic data until the government re-opens, it said in a statement.
