Canary launches AI hub to expedite hotel sales and event contract closures

Hotel management platform Canary Technologies has introduced an AI-driven platform designed to facilitate faster management and completion of sales and event contracts for hotels.

The new Sales & Catering Payments Hub aims to improve the efficiency of sales, events, and finance operations by automating key workflows.

With the platform, hotel staff can finalise deals more quickly and collect payments through a digital dashboard that supports both card and ACH [Automated Clearing House] transactions. This method helps reduce payment processing costs for hotels.

The company states that the platform enables sales teams to direct effort to generating business, while finance teams can settle payments more efficiently and at a lower expense.

The technology integrates with Canary Technologies’ existing Guest Journey Platform and is available to hotels immediately.

Canary Technologies co-founder and president SJ Sawhney said: “Sales processes in hotels have long been bogged down by mundane manual data entry and administrative work, leaving less time for closing business.

“With Canary's Sales & Catering Payments Hub, hotels leverage Canary AI to close deals faster, elevate client engagement and keep revenue flowing.”

Catering and events represent a substantial portion of revenue for full-service hotels, sometimes accounting for up to half of total income, explains the company.

The introduction of automated processes for contracting and payments is expected to have a direct effect on financial performance in this sector.

Canary Technologies currently provides technology to over 20,000 hotels in more than 100 countries, including major brands such as Wyndham, Marriott, and Four Seasons.

The company’s guest management system was recently selected by Brøchner Hotels to provide digital services for guests and improve operational efficiency across its locations.
