Amazon on Friday announced Amazon Bazaar, a low-cost shopping app that will ship products to 14 countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. Amazon stock was lower, while U.S. shares of competitors in global markets such as MercadoLibre, Sea Limited and Temu parent PDD Holdings also fell on a down day for markets overall.
