LM Funding America mines 5.9 bitcoins in September, shares up ~5%

LM Funding America (NASDAQ:LMFA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/LMFA]) said [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20258827-lm-funding-america-announces-september-2025-production-and-operational-update] on Wednesday that the bitcoin treasury and mining company mined 5.9 units of the cryptocurrency in September, compared to 5.8 in August.

Shares were +4.69% Wednesday pre-market to $1.34.

The company's bitcoin holdings totaled 304.5 as of September-end, valued at ~$34.7M, or $2.24 per share.

The monthly average hashrate came at 0.48 EH/s2.

"In September, we sold some of our bitcoin holdings to purchase the Mississippi site and for normal working capital needs," said CFO Richard Russell.

"The average hashrate for the month was lower than our potential hashrate due to the handover of the Mississippi site mid-month and curtailment in Oklahoma, which was offset in part by approximately $65,000 of energy sales," said Russell.
