TotalEnergies wins two offshore exploration licenses in Nigeria

* TotalEnergies (NYSE:TTE [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/TTE]), holding an 80% operating stake, and partner South Atlantic Petroleum (20%) have signed a production sharing contract for exploration licenses PPL 2000 and PPL 2001 offshore Nigeria.
* The blocks, awarded in the 2024 Exploration Round by the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, span about 2,000 sq km in the prolific West Delta basin. The work program calls for drilling one firm exploration well.
