Workday (NASDAQ:WDAY [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/WDAY]) announced [https://seekingalpha.com/pr/20208657-workday-signs-definitive-agreement-to-acquire-paradox-the-ai-company-redefining-the-frontline] on Thursday a definitive agreement to acquire the candidate experience AI agent Paradox.
Shares were -0.52% post market to $226.15.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The acquisition is expected to give Workday an AI-powered talent acquisition suite to help customers find, hire, and onboard workers.
The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, ending October 31.
Separately, the back-office software provider reported [https://seekingalpha.com/news/4487475-workday-pops-as-q2-results-guidance-top-expectations] fiscal second-quarter results and guidance that topped expectations.
