* Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/TSLA]) CEO Elon Musk said that around 80% of the EV maker's value will come from its Optimus humanoid robots.
Musk posted the remark on X [https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1962618811141812475] Monday evening. CNBC noted that Musk has said he sees Tesla producing around 5,000 Optimus robots this year.
* OpenAI said it plans to introduce tools that will allow parents to monitor and manage teen ChatGPT accounts.
The company said in a blog post on Tuesday [https://openai.com/index/building-more-helpful-chatgpt-experiences-for-everyone/] that the new controls will allow parents to link to their teen's account and control how ChatGPT "responds to their teen with age-appropriate model behavior rules, which are on by default." Parents will also be able to disable features such as chat history and receive "notifications when the system detects their teen is in a moment of acute distress."
OpenAI plans to roll out the new controls within the next month. The announcement comes in the wake of a lawsuit filed by a family who allege ChatGPT contributed to the suicide of their 16-year-old son.
