* Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/NVDA]) CEO Jensen Huang said AI computing demand has risen significantly over the past six months.

“This year, particularly the last six months, demand of computing has gone up substantially,” Huang told CNBC on Wednesday [https://www.cnbc.com/2025/10/08/jensen-huang-nvidia-computing-demand.html].

“Demand for Blackwell is really, really high,” Huang added, referring to Nvidia's most advanced GPU. “I think we’re at the beginning of a new buildout, beginning of a new industrial revolution.”

* Dell (NYSE:DELL [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/DELL]) CEO Michael Dell said that while data center demand remains strong, clients appear to be constrained by their ability to access enough energy to power them.

“I’m sure at some point there’ll be too many of these things built, but we don’t see any signs of that,” Dell said of data center demand, in an interview with CNBC [https://www.cnbc.com/2025/10/07/michael-dell-too-many-ai-data-centers.html].

He noted that power access, however, has become an issue.

“It’s the clear constraint that we hear about from our customers, including OpenAI,” Dell said. “Many customers, in fact, will tell us, ‘Well, don’t deliver it until this day because we won’t have power in the building to support it.’ ”

Dell's AI servers utilize Nvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/NVDA]) Blackwell chips. Key AI clients include CoreWeave (CRWV [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/CRWV]) and xAI (X.AI [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/X.AI]), CNBC said.

* SoftBank (OTCPK:SFTBY [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SFTBY]) (OTCPK:SFTBF [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SFTBF]) said it has agreed to buy ABB's (OTCPK:ABBNY [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/ABBNY]) robotics business for $5.4 billion as part of its push into physical AI.

“SoftBank’s next frontier is Physical AI. Together with ABB Robotics, we will unite world-class technology and talent under our shared vision to fuse Artificial Super Intelligence and robotics — driving a groundbreaking evolution that will propel humanity forward," said SoftBank Chairman and CEO Masayoshi Son, in a statement [https://group.softbank/en/news/press/20251008].

SoftBank's existing robotics-related investments include SoftBank Robotics Group, Berkshire Grey, AutoStore, Agile Robots SE, and Skild AI. ABB's robotics business will operate as a subsidiary of SoftBank, the company added.
