UiPath stock soars to 16-month high amid optimism around AI partnerships

UiPath (NYSE:PATH [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/PATH]) shares surged 18.8% on Thursday to reach a 16-month high. The software and automation company is benefiting from growing excitement around agentic artificial intelligence (AI), following announcements of new partnerships with major AI players, including OpenAI.

Over the past month, shares have climbed more than 59%, boosted by collaborations with Nvidia (NVDA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/NVDA]), OpenAI (OPENAI [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/OPENAI]), Snowflake (SNOW [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SNOW]), and Google (GOOG/GOOGL). UiPath plans to integrate its automation platform with Nvidia’s Nemotron models and NIM to deliver enterprise-ready AI models as “microservices,” enabling capabilities such as natural language processing, image recognition, and predictive analytics.

UiPath is also collaborating with OpenAI to build a ChatGPT connector integrating OpenAI's frontier models with enterprise customer workflows. It is expected to simplify AI agent development and deployment for enterprise clients.

PATH shares are up another 4% premarket on Friday, on track to add over 40% for the week.
