Stock futures inched up Wednesday morning as investors awaited the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision and key earnings reports from major technology firms.

Here are some of Wednesday's biggest stock movers:

BIGGEST STOCK GAINERS

* TERADYNE (NASDAQ:TER [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/TER]) +22% - Shares rallied after the company topped Q3 results and issued stronger-than-expected Q4 guidance. Teradyne expects Q4 revenue of $920M–$1.0B, well above the $817M consensus, and sees non-GAAP EPS of $1.20–$1.46 vs. $1.02 expected. The company also named Michelle Turner as CFO, effective November 3, 2025, with current CFO Sanjay Mehta transitioning to an executive advisor role until his retirement in 2026.
* JOBY AVIATION (NYSE:JOBY [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/JOBY]) +8% - Shares climbed after the company announced a collaboration with NVIDIA (NVDA) to accelerate development of its autonomous flight system, Superpilot, using NVIDIA’s IGX Thor AI compute platform built on the Blackwell architecture. The platform will enable real-time decision-making, allowing Joby’s aircraft to interpret large volumes of data to autonomously adjust flight paths, weather responses, and air traffic interactions. Joby said the technology will also support predictive maintenance, with the aircraft identifying and flagging component issues before failures occur.

BIGGEST STOCK LOSERS

* VARONIS (NASDAQ:VRNS [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/VRNS]) -31% - Shares tumbled after the company reported mixed Q3 results and a sharp decline in term license subscription revenue to $24.8M from $68.8M Y/Y, largely due to customers transitioning to its SaaS platform. For Q4, Varonis guided revenue of $165M–$171M (vs. $170.8M consensus) and non-GAAP EPS of $0.02–$0.04 (vs. $0.03 consensus). For FY2025, revenue is now expected to be $615.2M–$621.2M, below the consensus of $625.31M, with non-GAAP EPS of $0.12–$0.13 vs. a consensus of $0.12. The company also announced a $150M share repurchase program over the next 12 months.
* AKEBIA THERAPEUTICS (NASDAQ:AKBA [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/AKBA]) -22% - Shares slid after the company said it will no longer pursue expanding the indication for Vafseo (vadadustat) to treat anemia in chronic kidney disease patients not on dialysis. The decision follows the FDA’s rejection of Akebia’s proposed VALOR trial design. The company noted that reaching regulatory alignment would require a significantly larger study than planned, adding substantial time and cost. As a result, Akebia is discontinuing efforts to move forward with this indication.
*
ENPHASE ENERGY (NASDAQ:ENPH [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/ENPH]) -9% - Shares dropped after the solar inverter maker issued soft Q4 guidance and flagged tariff-related margin pressure. The company expects Q4 revenue of $310M–$350M, missing the $383M consensus, and guided for an adjusted gross margin of 42%–45%, including a ~5-pt hit from reciprocal tariffs. Enphase noted minimal exposure to new China-related tariffs as it continues diversifying its supply chain. Investor sentiment also weakened amid uncertainty following President Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” which accelerates the phase-out of clean energy tax credits.
