Billionaire investor Seth Klarman's Baupost Group raised its stake in Alphabet (NASDAQ:GOOGL [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/GOOGL])(NASDAQ:GOOG [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/GOOG]) and Dollar General (NYSE:DG [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/DG]) in Q2 2025, among other moves.

Baupost disclosed the information in its latest 13F filing [https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1061768/000106176825000005/xslForm13F_X02/bgllcq22025.xml] for the three months ended June 30, 2025, published on Wednesday.

The fund upped its position in Google-parent Alphabet's class C stock (NASDAQ:GOOG [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/GOOG]) by 26.8% to 2.63M shares in Q2. It also added to discount retailer Dollar General (NYSE:DG [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/DG]) by 26.7% to 2.67M shares.

In another notable stake increase, Baupost piled into managed care player Elevance Health (ELV [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/ELV]), more than doubling its holdings to 616K shares.

Other moves include taking in new stakes in packaging solutions provider Amcor (AMCR [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/AMCR]) and fintech Fiserv (FI [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/FI]).

Baupost exited its stakes in London-based analytics firm Clarivate (CLVT [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/CLVT]) and Solventum (SOLV [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/SOLV]) - the former health care business of industrial conglomerate 3M (MMM [https://seekingalpha.com/symbol/MMM]).
