Stocks were on track to open in the green Thursday after the artificial-intelligence rally reignited in the previous session. Global instability has weighed on markets but a significant move toward peace in the Middle East helped damp some of those fears, with oil fluctuating on the news that a hostage release deal has been agreed between Israel and Hamas. U.S. President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Israel and Hamas have agreed to terms for the release of all hostages held by the Palestinian militant group in Gaza and that Israel will withdraw its troops in the strip to an agreed-upon area.
