In trading on Friday, food shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 1.3%. Leading the group were shares of The Hain Celestial Group, up about 12.6% and shares of Seneca Foods up about 4.2% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are beverages & wineries shares, up on the day by about 1.2% as a group, led by Monster Beverage, trading higher by about 6.6% and Molson Coors Beverage Company, trading higher by about 4.8% on Friday.
